We gathered to celebrate the successful thesis defense of Dr. Elvis Eugene, the first Ph.D. student to graduate from the group. We also welcomed seven new Ph.D. students -- Nicole Cortes (Jan. 2021), Ke Wang (Jan. 2021), Montana Carlozo (Nov. 2021), Kyla Jones (Nov. 2021), Maddie Watson (Nov. 2021), Damian Agi (Nov. 2021), and Xinhe Chen (Nov. 2021), -- who joined the group since our last (pre-pandemic) group celebration.
