Members of the Dowling Lab attended the Great Lakes Process Systems Engineering (PSE) Student Workshop, hosted by The Ohio State University, this past weekend.
Xinhe Chen gave a research talk on Beyond Price-taker: Simulation and Optimization of Integrated Energy Systems within Wholesale Electricity Markets and Kyla Jones on Inference, Identifiability, and Information: Statistical Foundations of Hybrid Modeling. Additionally, Dr. Daniel Laky delivered a keynote address on the optimal design of experiments using Pyomo.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to connect with peers across the region, receive feedback, and spark potential collaborations.
